Even though the good weather is gone, I have here a refreshing summer comedy set in a water park, written and directed by the screenwriters of The Descendants. With echoes of Adventureland by Greg Mottola, the nerdy main character Duncan, 14 years old, learns to overcome his introspection and insecurities thanks to his friendship with Owen, the park instructor. He also learns how to deal with his mother’s madness and her husband (Steve Carell).
