After his stint in 2011 with the exhibition Prohibido vivir (It is not allowed to live), Okuda will return next December 14th at SC Gallery.
The Cantabrian artist, based in Madrid since 2000, has a style that could be described as original geometric surrealism which he uses to alternate textures and create works with implausible appearances. Always very close to graphic design and illustration, and not forgetting his steps as an urban artist, Okuda has had exhibitions in places as representative as Montana Gallery Barcelona, Ink And Movement in Madrid and Delimbo Gallery in Seville.
In recent years he has combined his work as a street artist and his interests in urban outdoor festivals such as the Octavo Asalto in Zaragoza, the Urban Culture Fest Mulafest in Madrid and the Vibrations Urbaines festival in France with contributions from companies of diverse natures such as PUMA, Tag Heuer, Phillips, Nissan and Telefonica, to name a few.
SC Gallery is bringing us in December this new Okuda exhibition after the presence of Michael Grudziecki, Vinz and Boris Hoppek, thus concluding a very interesting 2013.
