The documentary follows the trial that ended in the conviction if two of them to prison for singing feminist punk and dropping anti-Putin and anti-God harangues in a Russian Orthodox church. Almost the best part of this documentary is finding the craziness of the latter. You will be astonished to see how far these people can go if they are protected. Moreover, the trial continues and interviews players, family and others, showing the controversy the girls created. Putin released Pussy Riot in December last year, two months before the Winter Olympics.
