When we decided to go to Vietnam, my sister and I were told over and over again that Morning Glory was not only the place to learn to cook, but to eat as well; we thought we’d take advantage of their offerings and booked a cooking class that included an all you can eat buffet breakfast.
The market restaurant was so beautifully set out – different stations all produced different food by smiling chefs who were happy to offer assistance and explanations. We took our seats and were told that we were free to eat as much as we wanted in the next hour, before we would start the cooking class and market tour.
It was hard to know where to start, and we tried as much as our stomachs could fit! Our favourites were the coconut sticky rice with peanuts and the Hoi An breakfast pancakes with pork sausage. Other options included rice paper rolls, baked eggs, dumplings and little cupcakes.
The service was every bit as good as the food, with servers walking around the restaurant with drink carts, making sure everyone had fresh fruit juices to go with breakfast. They also helped out with dish recommendations, which was great!
A really amazing dining experience, and an absolute must if you visit Hoi An!
