Justin Randolph Thompson is a North American artist interested in subjects such as cultural dislocation, and also in the derived consequences of the different colonizing processes. He emphasizes the importance of victory or loss in wars, folklore and other cultural signs to observe the process of enlightenment of a specific human group. This is the reason why the artist uses objects that can be seen as symbols for the subjects in question.
Justin Randolph Thompson has participated in different exhibitions, the most important being Hide Beaters, In Sonora in the National Museum Art Center Reina Sofia of Madrid.
Togged to the Bricks will take place from the 7th of June in the gallery La Taché of Barcelona, which will also show the work of such important artists as Vermibus and Francesca Wallis, among others.
